As life pulls us in all different directions, we often find ourselves becoming self-critical and judgemental of others and certain situations in our lives. That critical voice inside our head becomes louder and more pronounced. We find ourselves wishing that in some way, our relationships and our lives were different to what they actually are. This sense of wanting, wishing, striving for something different can leave us feeling a sense of unease and discomfort deep within us. In these times of busyness, stress and unease, cultivating compassion for ourselves, those we love and our lives can be a deeply grounding, restorative and supportive practice. It also paves the way for greater acceptance, presence and less judgement.
So if you would like to learn to respond more skilfully to the part of you that is self-critical, and also to cultivate feelings of being on you own side, come and join us for an afternoon of meditation, compassion and reflection. This session will also appeal to those seeking more compassion in their relationships and in their lives more generally.
